LADY k !
Kameelah Whitaker, M.B.A. is a multi-faceted master braider and licensed cosmetologist! Although well-rounded, she specializes in braids as well as other methods of protective styling! Born Kameelah Hill, this San Francisco Bay Area native followed in her mother’s footsteps, becoming a braiding machine and later on a licensed cosmetologist.
As a very young girl, she would stand next to her mother (when working on a client) and mimic her mother’s movements and speed as she crafted beautiful, luxurious, and trending braid styles. Kameelah then began to braid on her own at the age of thirteen.
